New England Chapter of the Multiple Sclerosis Society Contracts United Site Services for All MS Events
Shannon Rice, United Site Services Business Development for the Northeast Region, along with Account Managers, Michelle Stratton and Donna Perella recently signed a contract to service all of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society events in New England. On average, 40-50 fundraising events are sponsored by National MS Society in Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Maine each year.
A customer for nearly 15 years, traditionally event managers contacted several different United Site Services locations to service their individual events. With this new contract, United Site Services was able to level its budget by providing the same price per unit (some exceptions, early pickups, weekends, etc.) to all of these locations. This new system also allows National MS Society to address the challenge of extra paperwork from multiple vendors and many points of contact by providing one Account Manager, contract pricing, timed deliveries and removals.
Ease of use and its past experiences with United Site Services also encouraged National MS Society to agree to this service contract in addition to recent United Site Services acquisitions offering more locations to meet event needs. Many of these are high volume locations already servicing the Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots, Boston College and the Boston Marathon. These high visibility events proved to the Multiple Sclerosis Society that United Site Services can successfully perform at venues that attract thousands of people.
“Our National MS Society race customers have given us great reviews and continue to return year after year,” said Shannon Rice. “We believe they were open to a contract because they knew what we could offer them.”
With this contract now in place, Account Managers, Michelle Stratton and Donna Perella are jumping on this opportunity to exceed the customer’s expectations. By creating service solutions well in advance of all their 2017 events, their team is mapping and isolating inventory necessary to make each National MS Society event run smoothly.
